Our Team

The Smart Futures Lab was founded in 2022 as an initiative to support and empower aspiring entrepreneurs in the tech space, by helping them develop their Smart City innovation solutions. At the heart of SFL, there is a drive to make the smart cities and tech entrepreneurial space accessible to all people.

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We believe our program is an opportunity to promote inclusive and innovative solutions in the Smart Cities industry because Smart Cities have not traditionally been built with underrepresented populations in mind. A key focus of SFL is to support New Majority (women, individuals with disabilities, Black, Hispanic & Latino, Indigenous American & Pacific Islander)  founders and entrepreneurs.

Meet Our Advisory Board

The progress achieved at Smart Futures Lab is largely thanks to our partnering organizations, including our Advisory Board, whose support has been essential for our success.
